County Administrator

Full-Time

Lincoln County is accepting applications for a County Administrator.

This position is responsible for the coordination and enforcement of resolutions, policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the board. This employee will assist in establishing, monitoring, evaluating, and revising Department and County goals and objectives.

At least 5 years of experience with Business Administration, Manangement, Human Resources, or Accounting is required. A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Accounting is preferred.

Noxious Weed 

Full-Time

Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Noxious Weed Licensed Sprayer.

The goal of this employee is to manage the weed control program for the County, including the application of appropriate chemicals to control or stop the growth of noxious weeds in Lincoln County. Duties include inspecting weed growth and operating and maintaining spray equipment.

A technical degree or college education in general agriculture is preferred but not required. Employee must have a Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification under the Kansas Pesticide Law. A CDL is also required. 

Transfer Station Employees

Full and Part-Time

The Lincoln County Transfer Station is looking for employees to fill full-time and part-time positions. 

These employees will work with citizens and governmental entities regarding solid waste management; assist the public with inquiries regarding the transfer station and landfill operations; assure all equipment and machinery is kept in operating condition; weigh, inspect, and record all loads of solid waste prior to disposal; assess charges and issue receipts; load recycling trailer; and sort and haul aluminum materials to local recycling center among other duties.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, and applicants must have a valid Class "A" CDL license or be willing to acquire one. 

Bus Driver/Director

Transportation Bus - Full-Time or Part-Time

The Lincoln County Transportation Department is accepting applications for a driver/Director.

The main duty is to provide transportation for Lincoln County residents in a safe and secure manner. We are looking for drivers and/or a Director. This service provided to County residents needs to operate according to KDOT regulations, and a Kansas Driver's License is required. Deputy Sheriff

Law Enforcement - Full-Time

The Lincoln County Sheriff Department is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy.

This employee provides citizen assistance, enforces all federal, state and local laws, and performs patrol duties in all areas of Linoln County. One to three years of similar experience is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. This position requires graduation from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, 40 hours of continuing education annually, and possession of a valid Kansas Driver's License.

  

EMT, AEMT, PARAMEDIC

EMS Department - Full-Time

The Lincoln County EMS Department is accepting applications to fill EMT and AEMT positions. 

This employee is responsible for providing emergency medical treatment in a pre-hospital setting and basic life support to the sick and injured within the established scope of practice as defined by the approved department protocols. This employee should be able to respond and operate an ambulance and basic life supoport equipment calmly in emergency situations. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver's license and current Kansas EMT or higher certification.
