Full-Time Employees
- Longevity Pay – After 5 years of continued employment
- Annual Boot Allowance - Law Enforcement
- Uniforms & Equipment Provided - Law Enforcement and EMS employees
- Health/Dental/Prescription Coverage
- Monthly cost to the employee is based on the plan option
- Short Term Disability Insurance- Paid by Lincoln County
- KPERS retirement program – Member from first day of employment
- 6% contribution rate – for all employees
- Life insurance equal to 1 1/2 times annual salary from first day of employment
- 12 hours of Leave accrued monthly (144 hours annually) - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using
- 4 hours of Extended Illness Leave accrued monthly (48 hours annually) - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using
- Holidays - Eleven holidays are recognized by the Lincoln County each year
- Supplemental Insurance available
Part-Time Employees

Bus Driver
Transportation Bus - Part-Time
The Lincoln County Transportation Department is accepting applications for a driver.
The main duty is to provide transportation for Lincoln County residents in a safe and secure manner. We are looking for drivers. This service provided to County residents needs to operate according to KDOT regulations, and a Kansas Driver's License is required. Dispatcher
Emergency Communications - Part-Time
The Lincoln County Sheriff Department is accepting applications for a part-time dispatcher.
Applicant must be 18 or older and free of any felony or serious misdemeanors. Dispatch shifts include 12-hour shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends. Employee must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to multitask while working well under intense pressure and job related stress. Employee must treat all information seen and heard in their position as confidential information.
EMT, AEMT, PARAMEDIC
EMS Department - Full-Time or Part-Time
The Lincoln County EMS Department is accepting applications to fill EMT and AEMT positions.
This employee is responsible for providing emergency medical treatment in a pre-hospital setting and basic life support to the sick and injured within the established scope of practice as defined by the approved department protocols. This employee should be able to respond and operate an ambulance and basic life supoport equipment calmly in emergency situations. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver's license and current Kansas EMT or higher certification.
