Full-Time Employees
- Longevity Pay – After 5 years of continued employment

- 12 hours of Leave accrued monthly (144 hours annually) - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using

Part-Time Employees

County Administrator
Full-Time
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a County Administrator.
This position is responsible for the coordination and enforcement of resolutions, policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the board. This employee will assist in establishing, monitoring, evaluating, and revising Department and County goals and objectives.
At least 5 years of experience with Business Administration, Manangement, Human Resources, or Accounting is required. A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Accounting is preferred.
Highway Department
Equipment Operator - Full-Time
Lincoln County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time Equipment Operator and a Truck Driver.
Knowledge of mechanics, welding, measuring, and working knowledge of mathematics is beneficial to both positions. The ability to operate loaders, dozers, mowers, motor graders, trucks, and other heavy equipment is preferred. This employee should have good organizational, public relations, and oral and written communication skills.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must have a valid class "A" CDL license with manual transmission or be willing to acquire one. County Clerk's Office
Clerk/Secretary - Full-Time or Part- Time
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a clerk/secretary.
This position assists with various job responsibilities including elections, accounts payable, customer assistance, general secretarial duties, and the possibility of administrative duties of the transportation bus including dispatching, scheduling, and grant administration. Bus Driver/Director
Transportation Bus - Full-Time or Part-Time
The Lincoln County Transportation Department is accepting applications for a driver/Director.
The main duty is to provide transportation for Lincoln County residents in a safe and secure manner. We are looking for drivers and/or a Director. This service provided to County residents needs to operate according to KDOT regulations, and a Kansas Driver's License is required. Deputy Sheriff
Law Enforcement - Full-Time
The Lincoln County Sheriff Department is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy.
This employee provides citizen assistance, enforces all federal, state and local laws, and performs patrol duties in all areas of Linoln County. One to three years of similar experience is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. This position requires graduation from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, 40 hours of continuing education annually, and possession of a valid Kansas Driver's License.
Assistant Appraiser
Appraiser's Office - Full-Time
Lincoln County is accepting applications for an Assistant Appraiser.
This position is responsible for performing skilled work relating to the discovery, listing, and appraising of all classes of property within the county for tax purposes and collecting and calculating data relevant to the classification and valuation of real personal property in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Requirements are a high school diploma or GED and a valid Kansas Driver's License. This individual will be required to attend trainging to become a Certified/Licensed Appraiser.
EMT, AEMT, PARAMEDIC
EMS Department - Full-Time
The Lincoln County EMS Department is accepting applications to fill EMT and AEMT positions.
This employee is responsible for providing emergency medical treatment in a pre-hospital setting and basic life support to the sick and injured within the established scope of practice as defined by the approved department protocols. This employee should be able to respond and operate an ambulance and basic life supoport equipment calmly in emergency situations. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver's license and current Kansas EMT or higher certification.
