The following is a list of benefits for full-time and part-time employees.
Full-Time Employees
- Longevity Pay – After 5 years of continued employment
- Annual Boot Allowance - Law Enforcement
- Uniforms & Equipment Provided - Law Enforcement and EMS employees
- Health/Dental/Prescription Coverage
- Monthly cost to the employee is based on the plan option
- Short Term Disability Insurance- Paid by Lincoln County
- KPERS retirement program – Member from first day of employment
- 6% contribution rate – for all employees
- Life insurance equal to 1 1/2 times annual salary from first day of employment
- 12 hours of Leave accrued monthly (144 hours annually) - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using
- 4 hours of Extended Illness Leave accrued monthly (48 hours annually) - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using
- Holidays - Eleven holidays are recognized by the Lincoln County each year
- Supplemental Insurance available
Part-Time Employees
- Longevity Pay – After 5 years of continued employment
- Annual Boot Allowance - Law Enforcement
- Uniforms & Equipment Provided - Law Enforcement and Ambulance Service employees
- 6 hours of Leave Time accrued per month - must complete 90 days of employment prior to using
- Holidays – Eleven holidays are recognized by the Lincoln County each year.
- For part-time employees working 1000 hours or more per year:
- KPERS retirement program
- 6% contribution rate – for all employees
- Life insurance equal to 1 1/2 times your annual salary from 1st day of employment
- Health/Dental/Prescription Insurance – plans available through State of Kansas Insurance Program*
*Part-Time Employee's Cost share is higher than that of a full-time employee
